As a Supply Chain Management VA-Sourcing (Essential Crew), your role is consistently to deliver high-quality work effectively and efficiently in specializing in Supplier Sourcing, Manual Sourcing, and Amazon FBA, you will manage and optimize the supply chain operations for our e-commerce business. Your primary focus will be sourcing suppliers, coordinating inventory management, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to Amazon fulfillment centers. Your Amazon FBA and sourcing expertise will drive operational efficiency and maintain a seamless supply chain process.
Your primary focus will be on finding reliable suppliers, coordinating inventory management, and logistic coordination, and ensuring a seamless flow of goods from our suppliers to Amazon fulfillment centers. Your expertise in Amazon FBA and sourcing will act as the propulsion system, driving operational efficiency and maintaining a smooth supply chain process.
The Supply Chain Management VA-Sourcing (Essential Crew) duties and responsibilities are:
- Conduct research and identify potential suppliers/vendors for existing products and new products for introduction.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and pricing, and negotiate terms and agreements.
- Assist in forecasting product demand and planning replenishment cycles. Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Collaborate with the 3PL warehousing team to ensure accurate stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Familiarize yourself with Amazon FBA policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Manage the process of shipping products to Amazon fulfillment centers, including labeling, packaging, and preparing shipment plans.
- Monitor FBA inventory levels and proactively resolve issues related to inbound shipments or FBA inventory performance.
- Stay updated on Amazon FBA best practices and implement strategies to optimize FBA operations.
- Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on delivery status.
- Resolve any shipping or transportation issues, such as delays or damages.
- Analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and generate reports to evaluate supplier performance, inventory turnover, and other key metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost optimization.

- 1 to 3 years of Supply Chain Management, focusing on Sourcing
- Previous experience as a Supply Chain Virtual Assistant with expertise in supplier sourcing, manual sourcing, and Amazon FBA.
- Knowledge in fundamental areas of supply chain management such as sourcing of products and suppliers and inventory management.
- Familiarity with Amazon FBA policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts such as cost analysis, pricing, and profitability.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Airtable, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and a project management tool (e.g., Trello, Asana) for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in using communication, collaboration, and sharing tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, Google Drive) for effective team communication and coordination.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify) and understanding of their fulfillment processes.
- Negotiation Skills: Effectively communicating, persuading, and reaching mutually beneficial agreements.
- Problem-solving: Proactively identifying and resolving issues or obstacles in the supply chain, demonstrating critical thinking and analytical skills such as drawing meaningful insights from a data or situation.
- Communication Skills: Able to effectively coordinate with suppliers, team members, and external partners.
- Initiative and self-motivation: Self-driven attitude to take the lead or ownership of responsibilities, seek opportunities for improvement, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance supply chain operations.
- Time Management and Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload effectively, and meet deadlines independently and with minimal supervision
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities, business needs, and evolving industry trends in the e-commerce and supply chain space.
- Attention to detail: Demonstrates a keen and meticulous focus on even the smallest aspects of a task or situation, such as the creation of reports and following SOPs
